Digital Lab

Alongside our traditional darkroom, Hank’s digital lab allows us to produce museum-quality prints from digital files and digitized negatives. Using carefully managed workflows and archival pigment printing systems, we are able to translate images into prints that maintain the tonal depth, detail, and permanence required for exhibition and collection.

Artwork Capture & Digitization

We provide high-resolution digitization of photographic prints, negatives, and paintings for reproduction, publication, and archival purposes.

Our capture process is designed to accurately preserve tonal range, fine detail, and surface characteristics, ensuring faithful reproduction across formats.

Digital Printing

Our digital workflow allows us to produce museum-quality prints from digital files or digitized negatives up to 60” wide.

Using archival pigment printing systems and professional color management, we produce exhibition-quality prints with exceptional detail and color accuracy. We can accommodate for almost any paper choice you desire.

LVT Negatives

We produce high-resolution LVT film negatives using a rare Kodak RES 100 film recorder to write your digital files to film for use in traditional darkroom and alternative photographic printing processes. Unlike inkjet negatives, LVT film delivers continuous-tone negatives that allow digital images to be printed using classic photographic techniques. Sizes are custom ranging from 35mm to full 8×10 sheets.

Negative & Transparency Scanning

Scanning is often the first step in a broader workflow, whether for digital printing, publication, or the creation of new film negatives. We can provide high-resolution scanning of film for editing, reproduction, and archival use.
